General:

Did: Added "redirectors" in bluehost control panel so you only have to type: trinityvicinity.org/parking and not trinityvicinity.org/index.html?parking.html

 

11-12-08:

Index:

did: launched improved site with frames. Only one index page now. all other pages easily found in public_html/. committees can edit their pages in bluehost easily. template for new committee/content page is content.html. Created /backup folder outside of public_html.

Todo: always remember when adding a link to the content/committee pages, always add target="_parent" to the link so it does not open an external site in the frame (see landscaping.html for example. Conversely, when adding a link to index.html to a page that you want to open in the frame, add target="mainframe" to the link (see index.html for example). also todo, continue weekly backups of public_html to /backup/public_html_backup_date.

Gallery:

Did: made uploading much easier! just login, click 'upload file' and follow the prompts! modified /gallery/cpg1419/lang/english.php to reflect error message about maximum upload size (2048x2048).

News Ticker:

Did: removed marquee so it shows in all browsers. fixed formatting so it fits niceley in page.

Todo: Add marquee when CSS3 supports it. until then, don't exceed 102 letters/numbers in news ticker or it will show badly.

Message Board:

Did: Added rough draft logo: /public_html/messageboard/styles/avalongreen/imageset/site_logo.gif

Todo: logo needs to be cleaned up

Webmail:

Did: upgraded roundcube to fix missing email problem.

Todo: Still needs to be programmed with proxy workaround to avoid port 2095 problems

Contact Us:

Replaced yahoo email with communications email to avoid missing emails.

Browser:

Did: works fine in FireFox 3, tested on laptop and desktop. some minor formatting issues in IE 6,

Todo: need to test with IE 7.

Printing:

Todo: need to create/modify styles_printing.css and add media="print" tag to pages so they print out properly,

Misc:

Did: fixed some formatting problems. ie: don't use bullets in content pages, won't show up well. see parking.html.

ToDo: photoshop photo credits into homepage image.
